I tried not hard enough to look it up in the search but found there are no topic started by this and also found that I have to read to figure it out...
How many teaspoon for a 1 gallon economy...

one teaspoon to a gallon be carefull it will make your birds fly high and long.

Ok cool I use to use it a long time ago and it will get the birds up up and away. Realy good for real hot days to keep them from landing earlie.

I realy think if you use to much they won't drink that red cell is thick.

Jess....it is one Tablespoon..not tea.....got the measurements from some racer fliers......Been feeding that amount for 4 years with no problems.

Red Cell, is this something you can purchase from a feed store? What is the purpose of the Red Cell? What are the effects and is it safe to give it to young flyers?

I'm already using Pro-vital, is it still ok to use red cell, or is it too much...espicially on youngsters or breeders feeding the babies.

If your using Pro-vital regularly, I wouldn't think that you would need it!

Red Cell--
Red Cell is used for horses as a vitamin supplement...it is LOADED with vitamins...makes the birds feel good. They will fly a little fast on you after a couple days of red cell...but I have had my birds do the opposite too and just come out on fire. It is not the same as pro vital...everything is a little different. I would not give it to them back to back...just because it is not needed.
As for Red Cell...it is really high in iron....so you do not want to give it to your birds ALOT...I usually shoot it to my breeders every second round of babies and once or twice during the Winter.....and I will shoot it to my fliers once a month or so or as part of my comp prep.
Red Cell is just another tool in the tool box....some strains don't react to it to well...they get so amped up they roll down.
I will tell you this....when my breeders get it....they are recharged.
If you smell the red cell...it smells just like the vitamins I used to eat as a kid...has a real vitamin smell.
I will swear by it and birds the feel good...are birds that will roll...and that is in most strains...some you have to make feel like crap to get them to roll...but that is them damn colored birds....lol..just kidding.
You can use the two together...I do...during my comp prep. I do not keep vitamins with my birds all the time.....I give it to them when they need it. or act like they need it.
Again...try it you may like the Red Cell...it works for me....but do not use it that much...because of the iron content.
