Hey guys !!! I was siting in the class today and talkin to my Econ. professor and I was telling him how expensive its getin to raise birds these days, and he gave my a wild idea. WHY DONT WE FORM SOME SORT OF A RIGHTS GROUP THAT CAN REPRESENT US AS BREEADERS. with the finances involved we are loosing money every time a hawk gets one of our birds. Just like farmers, we should have a right to defend our birds. Just a wild thought. ANY INPUT IS WELLCOMED.
WE NEED TO GET TOGETHER ON THIS ISSUE.

Sound like something we could do to speak out, but that's all we will be doing speaking out on deaf ears. You know I'd say 80% of the population in the US HATE pigeons. Crapping all over things all over the cities. In fact down the street where I had a hundred or so wild pigeons staying near a business that processes Wheat. I noticed the other day big piles of wheat all over the ground by the street. I thought, so that's why they live here, their fed better than mine. Today there isn't a bird in site. They was always everywhere down there. I'm pretty sure they poisoned them all. Glad my birds didn't get down there for a free handout. And before I retired at work they would poison the pigeons every fall. I'd find dead pigeons laying all over the place. I'd also find dead hawks around (they would eat the dieing poisoned pigeons)so there's something good coming out of it I guess. You could probably get the people that raise birds and some of their family members but I don't think it would be anymore than that joining in. But somethings got to be done, who knows what? Bert
