Now that's not good!

Crows often can be seen chasing hawks. In my neck of the woods I often look up to see a flock of crows cackling and harrasing a red-tail while in mid-flight on the hunt for prey.

As a matter of fact, I've identified 2 seperate crow nests (roughly 40yds apart) in trees right over my fences. Both of these trees are Evergreens.

It seems the crows have never bothered my rolling pigeons, however, they do scare the doo-doo out of my birds sometime with their freakin cackling.

that happened to me about 7 years ago, I saw something chasing a bird through the trees, My first thought was a hawk or falcon, but it was a crow it chased it all over like it was trying to kill it, the roller was almost white I thought maybe it just didn't like it. it got away after 5 or 10 minutes and its never happened again. It happens here every year. Usually recessive red or red grizzle youngsters are the intended victims. The pigeons lose a few feathers from the attacks but that's about it.

I doubt if they could actually catch one.

Got news for you guys and girls, It must be the year of the crow. Two days ago I let out a kit and the crows came from nowhere. one began to chase a pigeon and attacked, pulling feathers. Then a bop appeared and the crows went after him. Yes im saying it, Thanks for the bop . The crows left my pigeon and went for the bop. Thats why im saying thanks for the bop.just for that day. The bop saved the day.
