so why is an american fancier getting AERC on his rings does he get them directly from the AERC pigeon club? Is he a member?

You will probably get more answers if you give a little info on your self first! Sorta like giving info out on a family member to a stranger! Kinda curious who you are and why so many questions, and not even a hello first! Whats up with that? LOL

i have been contacted by someone from a rescue centre in the US about a pigeon wearing a ring JC AERC they presumed this meant it was a member of our club the all england roller club. our clubs rings would not have JC or any other initials on them. we do not have members in the US just wondered if he was a member in 2001 which is the year on the ring.

well these birds are nothing to do with the all england they must stand for something else. i have told the lady at the centre the ring isn't ours the bird in question is dead appartantly poisened there is aslo another roller with no ring on you are right the band is black

you only get rings out of the aerc if you are a member. some one must off got rings who is a aerc member and post them to the usa. send me the number of the ring and i get it cheked over and tell u whos it is.

I have no problem with you Jose! I must be missing something with Oddside's post though! Not sure why he's so curious about the owner having AERC bands to a dead bird! Maybe, I need to go back and re-read his post!

I aquired a red mottle hen last year with an AERC band on it! She came out of a guys breeding loft! I gave it to a friend that wanted to get back into rollers!
She was a real looker! I'm curious now, I will look up the rest of the band #s tommorrow from my notes!----------

Is my mind playing tricks on me? Wasn't there a post here in which someone was describing all sorts of AERC bands with initials on them?
Where is the post by "Jose" that Val is referring to in his post above? Man this IS a mystery...Does anyone know who this was?? Thanks!

The jury is out:..The culprit was 0155 "think that was his log-in name". It is ordered by this court, that the above plantiff be found as a thread deleter.

I deleted all my message's because I told him what JC stand's for and then I told him that he bought those bands from England he still dint believe it he started to say you got to be a club member to buy band's from England but when you got money anything is possible... I don't argue about damn bands expesually if the bird is dead.... So I deleted my own messages....

To Whom It May Concern: I spoke with 0155 aka Jose, he said that the AERC stands for "Arizona English Roller Club". He said he overreacted a little but did not mean anything by it.
So all is well that ends well...
PS There are some more details, but not relevant to this thread.
