Here are my first round of kit birds. I started with 32 but lost 7 when training, BOP attacks. So anyone near Hacienda Heights, CA if you stray them in please call me.

I hope these guys make it, today was the second day I scared them up to fly and they all kited and I even had a few turn over. Very happy with them.

Yeah nice birds.Good luck with 'em.I understand if some of you guys absolutely HATE me because I'm often so critical of your loft settup, but I'm honestly trying to help ya out,,,,if you build a v-perch out of like 1"X8" boards, and mount it right over top of your water fount, you won't get so much shit on top of the fount.Saves work scrubbing.Paint also gives your loft alot longer life, inside and out!!!!

I used to have my water inside like you efren .

Now I have it outside in a box I built and attached to the kit Box .

I believe its called a External water box, I use the 1 gallon jugs that that have a red base and it sticks right in the box .

It stays clean a long time and the Birds havent shited in the water ever since.

I will take a pic and post it.

Good job Efren! Looks like a magnificently marvelous group of youngsters that are willing to work their butts off for you. Just keep'em healthy and you'll be just fine.

Nice group of youngsters Efren. Those Red Mottles(or should i say future Red Mottles)bear a great resemblance to mine!Good luck training man,you know we need it!Sorry i didn't make the fly.Short on time & i'm trying to figure out if i'll ever be able to train my birds for comp.Right now i'm just not feeling it,so Club comp might be out of the equation for me.

In regards to the water box,it's very simple.Build a square box out of sturdy wood. One side open(this side will be screwed onto your kitbox)You obviously have to cut a descent size hole in the kitbox wall where you screw it in for the birds to stick their head and reach the container.Opposite side to the open side of the box build a door for putting the water container in.I like one gallon jugs also.Pretty simple job!

Whats up Efren! great looking birds youve got there. Love the dark check on the botton of the kit box, the black w/f on the left and all the red mottles the most. Good luck with them this season and future. hopefully youll have a bunch shining stars out of the group that make it to the A team and Stock loft (when the time comes!). My fingers will be crossed the BOP leave these hopefuls alone as much as possible. Good Luck with them buddy! Keep us updated too.
