i work at adams feed and the neighbor to the store told me his son left a cage fool of pigeons and was tired of feeding them he asked if i was intrested in buying some.so i made a visit i was amazed of the filth they wore in i really didnt want any after, but i like this birds appearence so i made an exeption after a good worming the bird looked even better...is the bird worth breeding from?i think it would take a lot to fly him in again.

I would fly it. Just because it looks nice doesn't mean that it is a performer in the air or a good breeder. Fly it and if you like what you see then the decision is yours to stock it or not.

If that's the only one of those I had,I'd get as many young off it and fly THEM.Then ya got a chance to see if you have anything as far as performance.Pretty hard to judge from one bird if the strain has any potential, especially the way the skies are filled with BOP.

Adams Feeed Huh! is that there on Compton and Firestone? It looks like a heck of a bird but I'm sure working at a feed store and having all the roller fanciers buying their feed there wouldn't be that hard to find the breeder or the person who was flying it. Check around with some of the guys in the area or take some advice and get a couple of youngsters first and if they dont come in around 7 months at the latest them fly her.Nice looking bird But hey "It's just an opinion" i hope.
