You know when you see a puppy with big feet you usually say something like "oh wow, he/she is going to be a big fella!" And usually that is the case, the puppy grows to be pretty darn big. I have experienced this personally. :) Well does this refer to pigeons too because I have notice that some of my babies from my bigger rollers have really big feet compared to that of the chicks of smaller parents. Even when both chicks are about one week old, I can sometimes tell which one will be bigger or which one is a male or female. Actually this method has been pretty accurate for me! ---------- Andrew

Are you sure they are 100 percent Birmingham rollers ..you have pedigrees to prove that and a license to be flying these pure rollers.. let see the license now ...lol...
seriously maybe you looking at the birds feet that are bigger is cause he is first born and the other one is smaller in size . ---------- Ralph....

Oh,good.Usually the first one to break out of the shell is larger for the first couple weeks.Best way to get an idea if they are cock or hen is when you look at the vent before they get feathers, the hen's vent looks like a frown where the cocks is always smiling.Try it. ---------- Kel. Rum-30 Lofts
