Thanks a lot,

p.s. also how much do you charge for shipping to Alberta Canada for the Birmingham Roller by Pensom. How many pages are in this book?

Hey Andrew, while there are some good books out there, I think a good one to start with is Pensom's "The Birmingham Roller". It's about $12 or $13.

If you are going to be a serious fancier, knowledge is power, so I recommend you start investing in your own mini-research library of pigeon books of all types, from the "How To" kind to genetics and medical.

However, if I could only have 1 book, it would be "The Pigeon" by Wendell Levi. I have a copy just 18 inches from my keyboard. It is a very comprehensive and complete book on the pigeon. A must have in any library.

I don't have one in stock but I can order it. It's about $120; 700 pages and over 1,100 pictures and has a 26 page index. Worth every dollar and more!

Hey Rolls, I notice that the pictures are slightly different in the 2 versions.

The one we sell has the picture of the white grizzle preceding the chapter 1 page. I will assume it is the newer version.

I believe I have a copy of the older version in my library. Besides pictures, is there any content that is different that you are aware of?

Hey Andrew, Joni will have your price ready in a bit if you haven't already received it. I will send it to your email address we have on file. Thanks!
