I have seen solid whites being showed before. I show my birds all the time and a couple of whites. They have the same chance of winning just as all of the other birds. Birds with bull eyes have less likely chance to win than those with pearl eyes. However, WHITE rollers with bull eyes are acceptable! Only because it is kind of harder to get pure white rollers with pearly eyes.

My brother has a White self cock that was bred by Keith London that won best cock and reserve champion at our closed show. Laron (3757) judged it. He gave my hen Grand Champion. Maybe Laron can give his input if he remembers...

Here's a pic of the white self:

The SDS used to have a white class at their show in honor of Paul Platz.
Most people that have whites are trying to breed whites using any bird/s that are no matter how they looked or rolled.

i used to have whites, actually my fathers project, real deep and fast spinners. They were basically double grizzles, bulleyed. Real typey cobby bodied. As far as whites, I can think of two, Juans Invisible Cock and invisibles daughter the snowball hen. Those were two eye catchers

Keith told me about Invisible, I sure would like to see a pic of him. I hear nothing but good things about him. I believe Rolando has an offspring to him?

Iceman, my whites are double grizzle also. It seems like the whites that are not bred to be whites but good rollers come out better.

Now that that the H Bikir birds are over here I think we will start seeing more kits with a white or two in them. I do remember right at the start of the bop problem guys did fly them but were a the first to go and seemed to attract there attition to the kit.
