Been about a month now! Last time I talked to him, he was putting the pieces back together, but he still had a long road ahead of him!
I sent him an email a couple of days ago and asked him to update us here and let him know that we still care!

Hello All, Jerry is doing fine, better each day. They are putting pieces back together. He and his wife and kids came by my place today. I bought his A and B W/C kits and a double kitbox from him a couple of weeks back. He kept his breeders and this years young, planning to use those as his grubstake to get back into it after the pieces firm up. He send his best regards to all and thanks for the concern, and hopes to be back with us all soon. Woody at spinnin' jennys loft, Region 5

Glad I scanned the pages and seen this.. Things are better as far as time healing the broken parts, but life will never return back to the life I once had. My wife has decided to go her own way, and that is a step that saddens me. I wished her luck in her life, and hope she finds the peace that she is looking for. Woody is correct that I sold him my 2 hold over kits. I hope they are serving him well. I do miss getting to see the show that they have given me, but I know I am welcome at his house anytime.
I decided to get rid of the older birds, and refocus my attention on this years young. Well, I was doing just that when my plans fell off to the way side. My house sold, so I was in the process of moving to a new house. I had a few more days left at the old house, and was staying at the new house, coming and going to feed and fly birds. The day before I was to move my loft to the new house,I walked back to the loft and noticed the youngsters out..Kinda unusual I thought....Well, turned out that I had 24 youngsters and out of those 24, 13 of them were in pieces. I followed feathers across my yard and over to the neighbors yard 300 yards away..Yep, I was ticked..I guess it could have been worse if they wuld have gotten into my breeder loft..
So, I am now at the new house raising 2 of my 4 kids. I have kinda gottn the birds settled, but have not rehomed the youngsters as of yet. I still have a ways to go to get them up and going, but I will get there.
As far as life in general, I still feel the pain of the past 20 years, but with family and friends, and my new motorcycle, life hasnt ended. I will get thru this, slowly..Thanks to all that have had me and my family in their prayers. I have felt the love. I will try to get back into the swing of the internet, but at this time, I dont have it at the house, so pop in when I am at a friends house.

Jerry i hope that everything will turn out for you especially the hurt you going through its going to take time ,hang in there there is something in store for you sometime God puts us in a choke hold but he doesn't kill us...keep your head up buddy.you would have peace..take care..
