I just wanted you guys to know what kind of Birds were crossed into the Rollers to make Crested Muff Rollers.
So those who have them in there lofts can better understand where thier Bloodlines came from.

George Ive had my Muffs way before i got my crest,even my crest dont look like that.In fact i had the same pair of muff's 1995 (still breeding) when you where just getting back into roller's.

those muffs that you have are not the same as the crested ones.
The ones that are crossed with these Russain tumblers are from Mike Maraivia (ZZ Top).

George,I did get a pair from Mike,i tryed crossing it with the other crest i had gotten but most of the young where rolldowns,i only have one hen out of the Maraviav stuff,and he did cross russian tumbler to get his crest,
One of the crest i got about 3 years ago was from Tim decker,yes thats right,and if one poped up in his loft whether he crossed something or not dosent matter to me, his record speackes for it self,untill we can match his record or beat it we shouldnt bash the crest,,,Hes had a few crest from what he told me ,and his birds kick ass.

Who cares about crested, muffs, colored...
Hector can fly whatever he wants. It doesn't matter to me. His birds, his house, his money.
Obviously Hector has done something right with them since he beat you every year you flew out here against him. You should try to get some from him, then next time you fly against him, you might get the Win.

before you start saying things you dont know nothing about you should ask some questions.
to set things strait I will fill you in on the times I flew against Hector .
the first year he won April , May, June, I won july, August , and would have won September but the Club voted to cancel septembers fly because of the BOP.
as president I could have vetoed and forced the Fly to go on but I am not a cullo.
so there you go thats is the truth.
The second year I didnt fly the whole season because I had some personal problems and relocated.
so much for the beatings you described HUH.
further more Hector has had birds longer then me but I have flown in way many more comp's in the short time that I have had them.
I agree he is more expierenced then me and althou we sometimes did not agree on certain things , we always remained friends .
In case you dont know it I was the one that got the SG Valley area going in the Fall Fly and World Cup. I helped create the club that you are in , along with Hector , Fernando, Oscar P. Eddie G, and Larry V,and Spanky .
that is a brief history of what I did while there in the Valley.
If you feel that your skills and Birds are better then mine , we can have a FLYOFF , just let me know.

I didn't need to ask questions, I was told everything I needed to know. How you would cancel flys because your birds weren't doing anything. How you would say you were sick on fly days... Trust me, I've heard things about you that I wouldn't care for because I don't know you and have no reason too, but it seems to me that you are always trying to put someone down, like Hector's crest, Paul Gomez muffs, Laron... I really don't care but these gentlemen are good guys and I would consider them friends.
So after the 20th post on crested muffs, I thought I would remind you that aside from all of your excuses, Hector still beat you when you flew out here in SGV.
Oh on your offer to a fly off. I will accept. Let's get the date and judge and get it going.

I never cancelled a Fly so whoever said that is wrong.
I flew in every fly I could even when my Birds were not ready Remember Silvertail.( World Cup prelims).
If I was such a bad president why did I get voted into office two years in a row ?
As far as putting anyone down i never attacked anyone personally ,All ii did was state my opinion nothing more .
I think the fly will be lots of fun and we will get a chance to meet finally.

If I remember correctly the main reason why I got out of the SGVS in 06 was because of club fly cancellations the day before the fly, and yes I do remember those phone calls stating you were not feeling good because of your Diabetes, (hope your doing better now). I felt it should have been a club vote to cancel the fly's ( 2 of them), I remember having my team ready and I was a bit pissed off at the whole situation. Hector then called me last year to ask me back to the club and assured me any cancellations would be a club vote. So looks like we have all moved on since then. Good luck to you in the finals!

when I was President I appointed Eddie G. our Fly director( and he did a great job).
I told him I was not feeling good and would not fly, and he said If he should cancel the Fly.
I told him it was his call. His reply was that there was not enough people flying anyway so he would go ahead and cancel the Fly. The Fly did happen a week later so it was just postponed, but by then you had decided to leave the club.
Again I did not cancel any Fly's I left that decision to Eddie and he made the Call( which I still support since he was the Fly director).
The second cancelled Fly was a Club vote it happened right there in my garage .I did not mind since I was prepping for the Fall fly ( when I scored 263 ) Ask Hector he was there.
One time we did not go to Louis D. house in Whittier because we ( The Club) agreed that if a member didnt go to other members lofts to see the Birds Fly then we would not go to thier lofts to see thier birds fly. ( which was common practice with certain members)
Like I said if I was such a bad president why did I get voted into office two years in a row?

OHHHH that Eddie, shame on him! George I never said you were a bad president did I? Plus I never voted I was just getting my feet wet with the club, it was already established ( officers) when I joined. I am just letting you know what the phone calls were about.

I understand Dale .. I did the best I could and Hector and Eddie were great help. If it was not for them the Club would not have been succesfull.
Region 9a does not have a NBRC Fall fly director , and I have been thinking about asking Eddie if he would like to be considered for the job ( I will recommend Eddie to Prez Jay Yandle).
Because Eddie did a Great job as The club's Fly director.

He sure did! Then there is also Spanky and a few other great roller guys from other clubs that would do an outstanding job. I wish I had more time I would do it in a heart beat but with all the family functions and coaching it's pretty tough.

It does take some sacrafices to donate time for our hobby, I have been lucky enough to be able to donate my time and Yes MONEY for our hobby.
but I dont know how much longer I will do it ( maybe 2 years).
Then it will be someones else turn to give a little to our great hobby.

I fly this Sunday, you know me bro I am always down to fly whenever and whatever its for, thats why we have the birds right! Alot of guys are stil alittle shy and really need to get there feet wet, even if it's the 15 bird minimum, I read alot of talk on here coming from people that dont even open their doors, sore subject with me!

Now that I think about it, wasn't Ray Sanchez the founder of the Aztec roller club which became the SGVS because someone thought it was racist?, I remember him putting in alot of work to get a club going while I was running the USA (United Spinners Association).

Me and Ray formed the Aztec Roller Club .. When we had a meeting at Hectors house we voted to change the name to make it more appealing to people who are not of Mexican heritage.
yes it was my idea to name it San Gabriel Valley Spinners, I thought I did the right thing then and I still do.
unfortuanatly Ray did not feel the same as I did and he choose to leave the Club and keep the Aztec roller Club on his own.
But as far as I know me and Ray are still friends.
the only reason I tried so hard to make a Club was because you turned me down when I asked to join the U.S.A. Club
