Texas have some good things going on with rollers. I was at thier annual Picnic and truly enjoyed myself. The host and his family put on a very, very nice "doings". We all should do so well and copy how it is done by the TPRA and the host. A lot of good people there and they even had an andulusion bird(LOL). Henry Cook pointed it out to me and said: "That bird looks different" and when told what it was responded: "Well, I knew it was different"
Frank Lavin was the judge and the Best of Show was an Old Cock..........a very, very nice bird who was 10 years old and a very good producer. I would have liked to have that bird, but I don't know where I could go with it in my plans.
Like I said; there are some good things going on in Texas. I am glad that this same club will be hosting the NBRC Convention. It should be a dozie. I will be there.

Rudy,
I finally got to meet you, my friend. For those that never have met Rudy, he is one of the most likable people you will ever find. His wife is as nice.....and guys, it ain't Rudy who does all of the grilling, it is his little tiny wife.....Rudy just drinks the cool ones(LOL)and eats the food.
Rudy, it really was a treat meeting you. The best to you and your family.
