I talked to Dave about a month ago! He was fine, just taking some time off to be a father! I take my hat off to him for that!

Dale, I was at Davs this past weekend and he is doing great. Like Val said he is just taking a few years away from the birds to be a dad. His oldest boy is one hell of an athlete and just going into high school is already getting scouted by colleges for both football and basketball. He was 4th in the nation in the punt, pas and kick contest and has been up among the leaders for 4-5 years now. Dave wants to be there to witness it all while he can.
Dave came by my house about 9 years ago and stayed for the weekend and his son and my youngest were playing basketball. Alex had never played and at the end of the weekend I loaded up the bakoard and hauled it ofer to his house. I told him that Alex needed it more that my son did. He was great back then with no experience. I did go get my son another one but Alex all ut wore that one out.Joe

Glad to hear that, Russ Dunnagan mentioned that to me some time back about his son, thats great, being a father, I know how important these years are in our childrens lives!
Thanks for letting me know, please tell him I said hello and that the family of birds that I got from Russ are really doing well.

I will keep you updated, I fly in the W/C this weekend and 1/4 of them are Henderson blood, the rest are my 272 stuff

Good luck with your fly,those Hendersons are good team workers.I did not fly this year,but I sold a young bird kit at the end of last year,to a guy and he has placed third in the region this year with them.He got some good ones from me, as I could not do them justice with my heavy work schedule....Aloha,Todd
