Here are some pictures of my progress thus far, I still need to add vents to the lower front and an upper vent on both sides. I also still need to finish filling sanding and painting.I hate painting! I had to finish the inside because my other lofts are getting a little crowded. I hope to train my rollers to home to this mobile loft so I can take and show off my birds to schools and such.
What do you think? will it work?

Kel, Too bad you don't live closer. My wife now wants me to build a real teardrop trailer! Oh well, I do enjoy the building just not all the little finish details. BTW navajo red does sound like a nice color but I'm going with white for visibility. I think when I build the real teardrop I'll go with the navajo red and som nice black retro teardrop fenders! ----------

Mrcomductor.........I am really impressed with your design. It LOOKS GREAT. How many birds will it hold?? If I were a bird I'd be PROUD to fly out of something that looks this good. As a matter of fact I had a trailer that was the same shape as that. I pulled it behind my Harley a few yrs ago. Once again that trailer LOOKS GREAT. Keep us posted on it. ---------- Fly High and Roll On Paul

Paul, the kitbox area should hold 25 birds easily but i'm only going to keep 20-22 in there. ----------

You may be lacking typing skills but they is some smooth carpentry. I dont have the patience to make one that nice. Good luck with the flying and if you need any help feel free to pop me a question. I specialize in mobile flying.

Thanks for the nice feedback. Sippi I'm sure I'll be taking you up on that offer, mobile loft flying is something new to me. I want to be able and take my birds out to expose more people to our sport and show them that pigeons are not just flying rats! ----------

Nice work, I'm impressed! I also like what you intend to use it for. Educating our young is the best way to keep the sport alive!

Ed, One thing I just noticed. Firstly a beautiful creative moblie. I am sure it will make just as lasting an impression as the birds you will fly from it. Was looking at it from a security standpoint. On the side door I would attach the hinges on the inside edges of the door so they cant be pried off. Hate to even think like that but there`s some nasty people out there.
Once again outstanding job and wonderful concept. ---------- V99 Straight up,no chaser.

Mrconductor, That's a very neat rig you're building! Your woodworking skills look top notch. Hopefully gas prices will come down soon so you can really enjoy your hard work.
