Hector , do you remember the Opal I got from you years ago ?
I gave it to my nephew The Deadendkid and he bred it to a rec red hen from Jims family , and this is what he got..
he gave it to me a few months ago ( because he's wants to go to the Marines after he graduates High School in June ) , and I flew this one with the Kit that qualified for the World Cup. Bird is 35Footer Cock Bird.

Nice looking bird George,
Ill tell you i still have the original that i bred in 98,I have never had a bad one out of him,he produces some real nice birds,they are deep and fast,
I bred him from a bird Eddie got from jim Namath and a Almond Cock i strayed,we only bred 2 i got 1 and Eddie got one,we flew them in our own loft and the day he called me ant told me his started rolling ,a was ready to call him to tell him mine was doing about 20 ft.
This was a one time cross that has produced good birds with what ever i put him on.Good luck with that one.Hector Coya

I dont have the Opal no more... a new guy that is just starting out got him from me, I showed him what this Bird does and he will not let go of the Opal for anything..
I got the Opal back from Larry V. last August when I was down there on Vacation. I dont know what Larry got out of the Opal , he had him for 3 years

The Bird is banded with some old Bands ( 2003 ) but was a 2007 September bred bird.
Anyone know what Color this is??
