Been a minute, Just wanted to thank the guys for comming up and seeing my rollers. Been kind of hard beings that i live in the middle of nowhwere most of the time. Really enjoy flying rollers as this is my 2year in comp. I know things can get complecated, but this year's world cup fly was a supprise to me, found out the day before as well as learning the fact that me and the club members here in Bakersfield have to fourm our own region.This is complicated as we are a new club, kinda was lookin for alittle more support as well as the rest of the bro's. Hopeing we can find a home with the High Desert Roller Club this fall fly. I really think it boils down to the "Chain of command" this is the foundation for any orginazition to run. Really not kno0ckin anyone but imagine wanting to be a part of thease flys, fighting the whole way, paying or borrowing $50 bucks, then finding out the day before you have to fly, "Piss poor Cordination" is what this boils down to. Sorry i blew up, I will get off my little panzy wagon. I know the solution is to become more pro active, as i come from a small town called "dont talk about it be about it" just east of never "BONE A BRO". I know we all have alot on our plate guess im ofically asking for my slice. Really looking foward to more flys and really thank the judge and scribe for comming up u 2 Sid, if ever up in this kneck of the woods come see me!!!!!!!

Hey Booker,good to hear from you.Even if you're bitchin.I know what you mean tho'.There are only 2 of us on the whole of Vancouver Island all the other guys are up in the interior of B.C. 300 miles away.I just put an ad in the CPFA website and newsletter to try and get more members for our region.Barely had enough flyers in our region to make a qualifier.Gotta get our #s up.

Yea kieth didnt do that well 60.84 and 1.2q 1.3d. I was good to fly in the cup for the 2time. This group of 18 is really good and im lookin foward to my young birds developing. right now im working two kits of 18, and just pulled another 15 squeekers. been back to work now for about two weeks, just alot of refresher training for the fire season. Been getting up early and working the rollers before work then agian in the evning, its paying off. Yea the F.W.S returned my goverment computer, and no word on the socalled misuse of it, funny how things change when you get a "lawyer".. LOL. other than that lookin foward to rolling some birds this year, when are you comming up to this kneck of the woods?? hopefully soon ill be around for a while, and you and the bro's are welcome any time, plus the fishing is super. Want to also touch basis with you on the Put up fly, as ive been outta the loop for a while, Later.

I'm the R/D for this region . 1 and 1/2 month before w/c prelims . I called the coordinator for each region that branches outwards. I contacted the coordinator for bakersfield and had him collect the fees for the flyers and told him the date and time. Friday bakersfield.......sat northern fresno..then sunday visalia ... 7 flyers each other day... the cordinator of bakersfield colleted and mailed the money to me. Now on fly day nobody knew they had to fly? JM420 i contacted you and you didnt have that friday off work to fly ... Talk to your Coordinator he knew FRIDAY was all bakersfield day to fly since we talked about it before he collected and mailed ur fees in.
I couldnt get you on sunday Jm420. we finished late sunday judging our area and judges had to drive back to L.A after a 3 day stay.

Thanx for the support Bro's, Yea it just that we had some Breakdowns.We all learn as I know I have, I look at it like this even if i had 2weeks to prep my birds they are gonna do what what they do good or bad wind or no wind. I just look foward to flying whenever I can. Also my teams are just getting older and better as time goes on. Really lookin foward to the fall fly. I think for the future we should have a "Pop up Fly" you know just pop up over someone's house and tell them "Crack the kit box"...LOL..all in good fun!!! yea JM420 glad you and Josh made it to my house last weekend I was really happy with my birds even on the sceond session,...It's just so lonely up here...LOL Travis will be comming up this SAT and all are invited..

Dam bro glad I got u, I have been outt the loop and no net acess @ my house. In addition I have no ink for my printer,, been so broke can bearley pay attention!! however I will down load the Pedegrees on my thumb drive and send them via e-mail if that is cool. How are the birds doing?? hope they do well. If you make it up to my house I have another pair or two as well as some young birds, as I am rappidly reaching my breeding goal for the year. plus the fire season is here and i will be rolling soon. Dont worry about funds as i will shoot you the birds for free.. any that I give you will go good with that paring...my phone was down for awhile however its up now feel free to give a call .... ONE

Yea I have noticed in my family the selfs in the past tended to be not as frequent, However that changed when I brought in a inline outcross a few years ago from Wrestler.nice old ink spot bird, and he changed all that, same family of birds just mountain breed as Dave would say... LOL Like I told you bro you are welcome to more of My Ghost Town birds.. U just gotta come getum...!!! and it will be good as you will be able to see a kit perform.. My young bird team is really turning it on,, Super!!!I mean when they are all twizzling and flipping at the same time that is a good sighn for me, they are about three months and going trough the YB Molt.. however I got one thats a good 30ft... Come check them out, its about a 2and a half hour drive for youguys..only roller flyer here though. I came from the hood and been bringin the hood wit me!!!!ONE

Yes, I have enough to put up in all the flies this year. Last year, I was limited to only the 11 birds. Got a nice 18 bird team working for me right now. Would of had a nice 20 but the over fly changed that. My first over fly in years!!
Between Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnnesota, North and South Dakota... we have the most active fliers in all 5 states. Said but true. I'm not sure about Iowa but MN has about 8 local flies in a year - two of which is combined with the World Cup and NBRC Fall Fly.
Hope that helps... MN World Cup starts 16th and concludes on the 18th. Judge flies back out on the 19ths I believe. Our judge this year is from Utah.
