THERE ARE ALOT OF PAPERWORK GUYS(ME INCLUDED) THAT HAVE PURCHASED BIRDS BRED IN OPEN LOFTS... HOW CAN WE BANK ON THE PEDIGREES IF THE BIRDS WERE BRED IN OPEN LOFT ???

You can't, to easy for a cock to jump a hen. Only takes a few seconds and they will do it.

Steve it comes down to the breeder. I myself breed out of open loft. The first round was 100% the later rounds would be in the high margins because of the system I went about it.
My breeding holes were large enough to lock them in until the hen is ready to lay. I would lock them in and let them out in groups of 5's to eat and drink every day until the hens lay the eggs, then I just let them all out. For the next rounds I would do the same, but the only thing would be that I was never 100% that when they got back to mating and I locked them in that another cock would have topped her prior to me locking them in the hole.
This is another reason I went to individual.

The answer is no in my case. I breed open loft and cocks do jump other hens. Most of my pairs mate inside their stalls.

If you are breeding from a tight gene pool family, why does it matter!!! Maybe this way you can test mating while they are matting.
