Depending what family you have some family's take a couple of weeks of flying and some up to more than 6 months. You have to ask that question to the guy you got your birds from.

Yea for my family it takes them about a mounth after they start the "mathmatics", this is what I call all the little antics, twizzleing and what not. if the birds are good rollers all you have to do is provide the program, that works best, take notes mental or written, and provede them alot of air time and quality care food water etc. The more time they spend on the wing the faster they develope. And thats when I become their coach, thats when you start to build your team. Starters, sceond string and bench.. 123. hope this helps...

Yea that sounds good if it works for you. Me I break that hour in half, 30min in the morning and 30min in the evning.. its a fine line young birds need alot as they are developing their body and their ability to roll,if you are to agressive you can really destroy some quality stock. Nothing worse than a bird that has developed the roll but dosen't have the muscle to deal with it. So I basically Baby my young for the first few weeks, then I really start controling their feed...hope this helps..

depends on the family on when they will come into the roll. Give them all the time the need to develop.

I call it tail riding. They lift their wings high and just drop out of the sky. I had some drop for well over 100 plus feet from time to time. They are simply just learning how to turn over. Usually when they finally do reach that mile stone of being able to completely turn over, they are good to go. Some will string on the flips until they finally do that first deep roll. Some will simply just be rollers over night and go from one flip to deep rolling. Again, it depends on the genes that bird has inherited.

These birds aren't born rolling like most guys think. They are not like Parlor Rollers. It is a learning curve for them and logging in many flying hours is the only way to do it.

Good luck in your endeavor... it sure can be frustrating at times but when the junk is filtered by the end of the year, you will finally reap the rewards you were searching for... well most of the time that is.
