Thanks Guys, All of these birds out of Higgins/Worm Mitchell stock, I flew for about 2yrs.(except for the cream mottle hen)with the black cock the deepest 50+ft.(a little sloppy at the end) and the red self hen the fastest. All the rest are at least 10 to 25ft. and tight all the way. As far as the kit birds I'm starting to see more action, Still have a long way to go as the air space is really tough out here in Moreno Valley, CA. Good Luck To All Cardo Gallegos LAFDRC

Looking good! The 2 pairs I got from you are doing real well. Their first round is doing great. The red mottle pair threw out some of their own, real early developers, 15-30 feet and frequent. They may be just a tad bit too hot, but nonetheless very good birds. The other pair the bull eyed red check and Yellow mottle hen (daughter to that yellow mottle you posted) have an exceptional young cock, real smooth, solid and with good depth into the roll. the other nest mate is still developing. There offspring are kitting real well. Thanks for giving me a chance to work with your birds.
Ive been to cardo2s house, his birds look great to bad I didnt get a chance to check out his young kit fly! His red spangle family is my favorite.

If funny you say that kopesta, because you have yellows at your place, at any rate, I have a daughter off that yellow mottle and his has poduced well for me so far. From what i remember that was a gife from antonio mitchell, it was a nw convention bird. ---------- Gary

Gary, Good to hear that the birds are doing good for you.You might want to mix those pairs up to give you a different combo. As far as the yellow(cream) kit bird,It's starting to look good in the air, quick and tight about 5ft, I really like that small style of bird. Hate to lose this one. Good luck with your birds.

Hey Watts, Don't have any paper on these birds or their parents, Mainly Higgins/Reed/Mitchell based. Are you from the Watts area? I use to work at the Fire House on 103rd and Compton, Engine 65 back in the 80s, saw a lot of really deep kits flying back then. Good luck with your birds. Cardo
