Guys. I just got a call from Ty Coleman. A tornado leveled a town about 5 miles from him at 7:30 AM this morning. It tore some of the roof off his house and he has water coming in...no power, either. It also tore the metal roof off his breeder loft, but since it happened so early and the birds got so wet, only one of the breeders that I gave him is loose and flying around the place. He has collected a few squabs to try to save, but there are too many other things happening right now to save any, probably. He has two kids under two and needs our prayers..... Cliff

Hope all is well for Ty and his family. The house and birds can be replaced with time. The family has got to come first.

Ty, if we can do ANYTHING for first and foremost your family please let me know. Once all is sorted out and family is safe and sound, and you have time to think about the birds, I would like to help replace any losses you took.
God Bless! ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

I talked with Ty a few minutes ago. He is in good spirits and looking at the positive side of things....he says his birds will have fewer trees to negotiate when they fly! LOL! He is definitely a roller nut...after he made sure the family was ok, the first thing he and his wife did was put a roof on the breeder loft......before anything else! Cliff

Hey guys,Ill make a quick post here. I want to thank everyone for the prayers and thought the comments were lifting to read. My family is safe and were staying with Tiffanys grandmother because we are still out of power. I have a carpenter coming to work on the house tomorow and ive got it tarped for the time being my biggest problem is water damage but it is all fixable. Please keep the others that were devistated in this storm in your prayers many do not even have a home to repair and there are many familys that are short members tonight also.My largest loss were to my silver pheasants my horses and dogs came through ok they just got pressure washed lol. I was very lucky with my rollers as the entire roof was removed from my stock loft,i only lost one brood cock however my squeks didnt fair as well many were drowning in the nest bowls i tried to save a few but im not sure if any were saved as i had to much else going on with my children. We got a temporary roof on the loft but im now worried about it as the winds are stating to blow hard again and im not there to see about it, it will be a sleeples night until i am able to see about it in the morning. But overall things are good and im thankfull for the support given by all in the hobby.I see now that no matter how much we debate or argue issues when the chips are down everyone is there together and this means alot to me. Thanks Ty p-s im still planing on leaving Vapor Trails in the sky in the Fall Fly but i dont now how much more my birds can handle lol snake one day tornado the next its got to get better. ---------- Ty Vapor Trail Lofts

Hey guys things are starting to shape up around here finally we got half of the roof replaced so far and most of the tree cut out of my yard i still have alot to cut out of the pasture but they can wait.I had three squabs hatch yesterday so im back in the saddle just a little behind. I was very fortunate to only have lost one breeder as the entire roof was blown off the loft but i have a nice indigo tcheck {50 footer} in the A kit to replace him with. Tony i sure do appreciate the offer thats a stand up thing to do, that speaks tons for your character, and i would love to take you up on your offer but my losses arnt that bad but in the future im goona try to get a few to try out everyone that has them seems to be real happy with them.
