Let her rest up for a couple of days, make sure she is well and does not have a sickness,or is not under fed, then put her back up. If she keeps doing that, cull her and check the parents(remate them or dispose of them, or both)

Feed them higher % or a little more food. If it still does it that bird is no good. CULL him

I have a bird that was doing the same thing is your bird young or is it 2 yrs or older ,mine is young and i have rested some for a few days to a week and still bump .I just talk to Dave H. about it he told me to rest it for a month since it is young and need to recover ..also what i have done is feed them twice a day half ration in morning half at evening and i notice more control..he said you can save it by hand tossing it ,but i told him i don't like wasting time on those birds..

I would hold her in for a week or so and feed her up a bit. Had a few do this and once I did this most of them corrected it and were okay, that's until the bop got them.

kopetsa...Please don't get OFFENDED, but their are some subjects that don't need to be discussed in this room.(too many other ears listening) Maybe you can contact some members to discuss this in detail. Or better yet contact TONY himself.

One thing that I have done in the past is to pluck the tail, I do this for a couple of reasons, one is to detour me from letting the bird up too soon. And the other reason is that it basically gives the bird a brand new rutter. and if that dosen't help, then its not worth my time..

If its an old bird then rest it a few days and feed it up. A young bird you can do the same but rarely are they saved in this manner. As for the tail pulling I have not figured out were that would help other than the rest because rollers use their secondaries for brakes not their tail. I have had birds that had their tail pulled by hawks or me or some other reasen and still flew and could roll with the best of them. Joe
