nice going bro you maid one of the best move ever now for sure you will know who is who. they are in lock down only for a few months. i my self i think that open loft should only be used for foster pairs. that just my thinking. nice set up good going homie.

Thanks guys.

Tony sells them, but I got them from Jedds so I would save on the shipping charges.

Much more cleaner loft, and I don't have to worry about any cock jumping on a different hen.

What's up Ralph.

Hope you and your wife are well.

Right now I just have 1 nesting bowl in each compartment. I am thinking of adding a second floor for each just for the bowl.

Hey Efren......The reason I divided my pens up like I did was because the very bottom 2 pens were too difficult to keep bending down and checking on the birds and putting feed in the cups was messy. More feed landed on the tray instead of in the cup. Plus, they were not getting enough light being stuck on the bottom like that.

Good Efren,

Now you can breed quicker and no waisted time as they get to mate fast, and you will know 100% who is it from.

Silver,

The water is never ending. There is a float that shuts off the water when full on the water tank.

Mario,

You need to come check one out. The one I flew last year was a black w/f about 20-30' spinner, not too frequent but nice.

I have 2 in my young kit. A red w/f and a blue check w/f.

The red w/f was about 5-10' around 2 weeks of flying so I moved it up to my A team for the w/c. I'm not sure if that messed her up because last week she rolled down from a dot. Held it good for over 100' but then it was an on and off roll. She came back the next day in very bad shape. She was only 3 and a half weeks of flying. She's doing a bit better now. I will give her another try once she is in better shape. Hopefully she can control herself.
Keith did mention that every red out of that pair did this.

The blue check w/f is about 10' real nice and real frequent. I'm a bit scared to move him up to my A team but I would like to have 16 birds in that team. I'll let you know how he does these next couple of weeks.

I can tell you that they come in very early.

Efren.....This is about your auto water system. How do you keep the water from freezing in the WINTER??? Do you have some type of heat element in the system? Or doesn't it get that cold where you are? I like that set-up but, here in Ohio, the WINTER nights can get below FREEZING. Just curious

Hey Paul,

I'm in Los Angeles area. It gets cold in the winter but not that cold. I'm sure you could make one out of another container that could be used with a heater, like a fish tank heater or something like that.
