I thought some of you guys might enjoy this little pigeon poem that my eight-year-old daughter wrote for me in school yesterday.......
Mrs. Peck Pigeon
Mrs. Peck Pigeon is pecking for bread,
Bob, bob, bob, goes her little round head.
Tame as a pussy cat in the street,
Step, step, step go her little red feet.
With her little red feet and her little round head,
Mrs. Peck Pigeon goes looking for bread.
I must be getting sentimental in my old age, LOL! That little poem means more to me than a National Championship would!

It's really good to see that others of you can appreciate this, guys. Actually she wrote a small book of poetry for me.....pretty amazing with the perfect iambic pentameter at that age! And thanks, Nick. I'm beginning to like the new and improved version of Nick Siders more and more!

Cliff,
You and I have had our differences and will probably have many more; it doesn't have anything to do with what I think of you as a man. Thanks for the compliment; I am trying to be a better citizen of the roller world because I like the company of roller people.

Better, yet, Tony, I'll just show her the thread when I pick her up for the weekend on Friday...You never know what positive impact it may have for her to see how she has touched the hearts of others.....Thanks, guys. I've said it before, but it bears repeating...you guys are the greatest!

She is Dady's girl. I got to meet her and she is very sweet girl. Cliff, enjoy this time with her. Before long she will be a teenager and you will look back at those moments and you will treasure them for a long time. Good Bless.
