I'm located in East Mesa. Chris S. told me about you Jose. I know there are other roller guys, and girls, in the east valley and I would really like to get a club together. organize flys and help newbies in the hobby. Chris ---------- "The" AZpigeonman

I would like to make a list of everyone currently raising rollers and interested in participating in a performance based roller club. The club doesn't necessarily have to be limited to east valley guys. We just need to find guys not afraid to fly their birds whether they are flying OK or not.. Also, I wouldn't mind driving up near show low to visit a fellow pigeon breeder...... It could be a nice break from our wonderful heat... LOL What family of pigeons are you flying in the white mountains?

Well here we go. I stay up north in Chino Valley 1/2 hour from Prescot. There are a couple of serious roller guys up here as well and have allready takled about building a Roller club with some guys down in the Valley. There are just to many things that need to be outlined befor it's said and done and again I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea if there is more than one roller club in Arizona. Keep me posted. tavoquezada@yahoo.com ---------- "Our Angels Loft" Tavo

Frankly, Each time I have seen a roller club started in the time since I started in pigeons in the early 70's, one guy or a pair of guys have done 90% of the work. Now I am not opposed to this speaking for myself, but I don't want to have some complicated rules and all that. Just some down to earth fun in the hobby with some healthy competition using the already in place world cup or other national/international scoring system. Fairness and NO physical standard, just fly what you have and the numbers will tell us who has the better birds that day. This can only help us in the national flies as practice makes us all better. I would also have a personal interest in seeing our state do better in the world cup. Men pulling together with the common bond of our birds, creating fun and friendship. Thats what I think for what it's worth...
