Andrew, I'll bet when you show those colored homers to the Racing guys you get the same response as you do here when showing a colored roller. Nice looking though!
You got to be shitting me man. Those are not true racing homers. Not one birds even looks like a racing homer... and all three of them look different... in type, size, conformation, shape, everything. I am not really sure what they are... but they are not racing homers, by the standards I have seen my entire life.
We have a friend who has these "colored homer want-a-bees" and they cannot find their way home from 5 miles. I am serious too, approx. 80% of these color birds after being flown daily and at almost 1 year old can't find the loft from 5 miles away.
It's no different from a homer to a roller, crossing other breeds for color creates a mongrel! With all due respect of course! LOL ---------- Joe Dan Parson Full Turn Lofts North Texas

Just being truthful... and calling it as I see it! Not talking about the man, just the birds. Seems like color breeders are sensitive too? Didn't mean to step on your toes.
454 is right though... they are your and thats cool with me. Some guys don't like my family and I could care less, it's me that needs to like what I am looking at in my loft.
Do me a favor, join a local racing club, fly your birds and give them your best, then let us know how you did against the other "racers".
Good luck! ---------- Joe Dan Parson Full Turn Lofts North Texas
thats the best advice you could give the young man joe for him to join a club. thank you for your response he probably doesn't know much about the breed and qualitys to look for i dont race homers don't know much about them been raising rollers since i was 10 yrs old and i still learning about the rollers. ---------- 454 TRIPLE "G" LOFT L.P.R.C
You know how it is dawg... I just can't help myself! LOL
The convention is coming along well... Kevin and I made some adjustments to the daily loft visit and kit flying agenda this past weekend... and we plan to put the final touches on it this coming weekend so we can get a little info in the bulletin.
You are welcome to go anywhere with us when your here and you know it. But, We will be riding in the buses this year after I pissed the drivers all off last year. Those bus driversd were a little sensitive too! LOL
Hope all is well for ya'll out there... ---------- Joe Dan Parson Full Turn Lofts North Texas
2 years with no A/C on the buses was too much... I promise... we will have working A/C's this time! LOL ---------- Joe Dan Parson Full Turn Lofts North Texas

good luck with them, what do you plan do do with them? why arent they banded? my brother had some racing homers back when I was a kid. Strong good looking powerful birds. He had some real nice dark checks, blue bars, red bars, and red checks...oh the memories... ---------- Gary
Yeah I will join that forum! :) thanks.. I will be flying them of course but I thought maybe I should have colored flyers. If they are fast strong flyers and home good, I will breed them. ---------- Thanks, Andrew
