I am looking to buy a book to help me better understand roller pigeon management. What do you guys think is the best. I do not yet have any of the books Tony is selling but plan to purchase one. Just wondering what your book reviews would be? Which ones would you suggest to a novice in rollers?
Thanks RT Williams

"The Birmingham Roller" by Pensom and "True Spinning Rollers" by David Kowalski. Those two books together will shed some light on the BR.

Personally for me the better books that I have read would be Both of Kowalski's True Pinning roller's and Grahms Winners With Spinners. Personal choice only just because some of the other books were not easily followed. Joe Urbon ---------- J.M.Urbon Lofts A Proven Family of Spinners http://www.freewebs.com/jmurbonlofts/

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. Why would you choose the Pensom book over the others? I understand Pensom's history in the USA. However does it discuss Management issues? examples including but not limited to kit training, New bird training, different feeding methods, choosing breeders, etc? Am looking for the how to stuff right know. I am wondering if the Pensom book is more about history or the how to? Thanks again RT Wiliams

I would recommend: "True Spinning Rollers Vol. # 2 by David Kowalski. You will get more out of it than Pensom's book. ( I have both.) They are both worth having and Tony sells them.
