i have never been in a show im asking for everyone opinions

It is a very pretty bird. It is totally impossible to tell someone how good a bird is by looking at a picture. The only true way to tell a good roller is watch it fly.
Now this is what I have learned here over the last few months here. The bird looks like a red mottle but I'm not good at telling colors very well.

Maybe it's the angle or the bird is all fluffed up but looks big for a roller.

You just need to be patient when shoot pictures. And one thing about the digital age, just keep clicking until you get what you want.This bird I took over a dozen shots but one turned out pretty well.
I've showed this guy before but I've changed the background and floor.
Does anyone have an opinion on his body type. And am I adding too much to my backgrounds to detract from the bird? Just wondering!
