Thanks guys, but to be realistic it would be very surprising if it holds, Eldon is taking this job serious though as he should and he wants them banging hard and together on this fly ,in fact surprisingly hard and together, .
It was good to see a finals judge not counting waterfall or bumble bee stuff.
As for the team,I was really considering sitting this one out as I was really struggling with this team.
Sunday before last I had lost a couple of good ones and at that point decided to stock a particular cock, and told myself " for sure I'm not flying now".
Just for giggles about ten days out I moved in some birds from the B team that was doing pretty good and started kicking them out at 5:45 am due to a record high heat wave before work and letting the wife get them in, but I was able to watch them for 20 min or so looking for boneheads ect , then it kinda got to looking like I wouldn't completely embarrass myself.
I was still fine tuning bird wise here and there up until my last my day.
I lost depth in that early light but they would pull in tight and hammer, fly morning was perfect conditions, overcast and just a slight breeze, their condition looked like roll fit but not over the edge, it all just came together and they gave me their all for this particular team which is by far not the best team I have fielded , my hope was just a decent showing but they far exceeded my expectation yesterday, in short it just came together.
