before you flew it to check he or she out, simply because you did not have enough stock at the time or for various other reasons (you just knew the bird would be good...)? ---------- Andrew

Well bud, its kinda like this in my book! If u have a closely bred family than I would do it. I have done it couple of times for various reasons and it worked out fine! I prefer not, but like I said IF U HAVE TO, THAN DO IT.

I am doing this. But I am new. i have got some birds from people who have told me they are good. I watched the kits they came from and they were good. However I never saw these birds fly until they where on the nest. I was scared to loose them. They will be breeders for a year or two, and then hopefully I will have enough birds to pick from the air and replace them. Even then I hope to stick them in a kit and see if they should be back in the breeder loft. JMO
