1.) Do you breed in an open loft? YES/NO, old proven pairs in open loft, new pairs in individuals. 2.) Do you keep feed in your loft 24/7? YES, breeders only 3.) Do you take color and looks into effect while breeding? YES, I have a family of very ugly grizzles that are great performers. Type and character are spot on but the color is very ugly. I don't like to mate two of those grizzles together. 4.) Do you show your birds? NO 5.) Do you light your bird house over night with a little bit of light? NO 6.) Do you use fosters? NO, but may in the near future.

1. No, individual breeding pens my fosters are in a open loft. 2. Yes, for the breeders. 3. No, by performance only. 4. No. 5. No, just found out it was a added expense. 6. All the time, Breeding season and flying season is short. Need to get as many birds out as I can and be able to fly them in the window I have to fly in. Brian Middaugh

1. NO
2. Yes for the breeders
3. NO, they all look alike anyway! ;-)
4.No.
5. No, lights out at dark, lights on at six A.M., I'm up, check water and feed.
6. Without fosters, I would have no breeding program, I'm only breeding from four pair, the original cock and hen on their best young, and my outcross pair on their best young with their primary function as fosters then as outcross secondary.
Sorry but yes and no, just wasn't enough.
