OK GUYS!! I guess this is no place for a woman to be. This is obviously a mans sport and as I have heard before women don't raise rollers. Well with your closed minds I can understand why!! I'm outta here!! Thanks for all your help!! NOT!!!

If theres no info how do you expect for people to help you you have an old bird that probably no one has info on dont blame the people here for not having any info.

Sorry Di! I don't know any info on this bird! I usually give a question a couple of days before I give up on it! Some of the "old timers" here, don't check in but a couple times a week!

Just bring it forwards when it gets low on the list and keep it from getting buried!

Oh! Is that what someone has to do to get a response, Piss you guys off. I have been checking back to see if info was available. All someone has to say is "We have no info!" instead of leaving me hanging. I have seen how you guys go right around newcomers. Yea, thats the way to build your sport. This is the first time I have been able to find anyone who knows about flying rollers other than feed store people. You guys have your little click and just ignore other peoples questions. I even read where a guy snapped at someone because they didn't stick with the "THREAD"! Nice reception for a newcomer who needs help.
And as far as not having any info ICRC is 22 years old my bird would have been 17 years old. Whats the prob!!

Dont get your panties all in a bunch. you ask a question that we may and may not have an answer for. You will find this site is very receptive to newcommers Men and Women. I always thought the you women had much more patience than us men do but you blew that right out of the water. Joe

I've been here like 3 yrs and they still don't like me yet!

I keep trying though! LOL

There are probably just a handfull of people here that are from that area! Don't be hating all of us, I never even heard of that club!

Try some questions on breeding, or performance, and I bet you get showered with responses! We could all help you then!

Sorry GUYS, I guess its just the German/Irish that gets the best of me sometimes. And the fact that at my age I don't have a lot of patience anymore. Actually some teenagers have more patience than I do. I really like all the info that this site has to offer, but I used to show shelties and you can trace pedigrees back to the origin and if you guys are so into lineage you would think that someone would know something. I'll try to take it down a notch. Atleast I got responces!! HA HA HA!!!

Mrs D sorry you don't fell your getting any help but I have responded to this and said I would try an find out who the breeder was I also told you a called two of the original members and they didn't know who had that ban sereis back then. I am trying to get a hold of another person who it might be but getting his number has not been that easy. Also the personal band is just that personal you can order band and put what ever you want on them and no one else has to know what it means its he's personal name of his or her loft.

Ladydi,
Are you thinking of getting into the performance side of these birds? I hope you do because we surely can use more members. If so, welcome to the roller world. And there are some female members in the NBRC. Not a lot, but hey, this game has nothing to do with gender.
Reason I ask is that if you have raised several generations from this bird without flying them, well, I hate to say it , but they are probably not much of a performance family anymore. Even if the bird you started with was someones champion. You might want to consider getting a new family of birds to get started with.
AND, it just so happens, you are smack dab in the midst of the best place in the world to find a better family of birds. Get to know big Tony, he owns this site and has a great family of birds to get you started.
The guys on this site are some of the most knowledgeable around and always will help you all we can. Stick around and give us a try. We might surprise you. Many of us have posed the wrong question at times and sometimes it hits a nerve and can get ugly. But we always work it out. Thats just what we do. And pardon me for saying, but it sounds like you can hold your own.
If you cruise around you will find many threads starting with topics like Newbie , Or newcomer, read those threads. You will see the welcome wagons come a rolling from all over the roller world.
So , in that spirit. Ladydi, welcome to RPDC, the best Birmingham Roller Site on the web.

P.S.
I`d offer a handshake or a hug, but I`m scared. LOL

Thanks Butch,

Your a funny man. My bark is bigger than my bite. I really love my birds, and would love to see them fly but I'm probably past starting over. Not a young chick anymore. My neighbor has a friend who wants to buy about 50 of my birds, but he is Greek and owns a resturant. I need to get rid of some, but not that bad. I'm one of those nuts that talk to the birds like they were kids. I'm still deciding what to do with them.

Thanks for the welcome, I'll be around for a while.

Later,

Diana

THANK YOU RUDY!!!

I just got off the phone with Smitty. You did good. I'm so happy to have been able to find him, it has been a 16 year search. I finally know that she was a special bird.

Thanks again!
