The 2008 world cup fly in las Vegas is in the Books , did not have a very good Fly....
But I had a great time and I got to meet Eldon Cheney and I am grateful for the opportunity to participate.
ohh well back to the drawing board....

Good job George,better luck next time I think one of the biggest factors in flying birds is Luck(weather,bop)these birds make liars out of all of us sooner or later LOL ,give me a call when you come down here so you can come check out my birds, I think you will like them.

George you did what you could and the birds did what they could.... and I agree with Spanky.... it's all part of the game. Roller game that is.
Sorry to hear that you got hit by the straggler. Unfortunately these things can happen by ecological forces in nature which are beyond our control. Survival of the fittest is the rule when it comes to BOP.
....however
It's wonderful that you had the chance to meet Eldon Cheney. This is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity and you undoubtfully learned quite a lot from Mr. Cheney. I'm sure he's been to a lot of different lofts over the years, and every new place that he visits is just as special to him as it is for the host.

You were more than likely a gracious host. (smile)
