I have a pair in the stock loft that have been sitting for 4 days with the hen and cock swaping turns--- no eggs at all and they will even fight you about the nest. Whats the deal ? and this is one of the pairs that lost there squabs to the snake if that makes a difference. ---------- Ty Vapor Trail Lofts

I have had this, make sure they are getting grit and all that and that they have a full nest bowl (straw or wood chips...) Mine have done this simply because they didn't think they had a good place to do so.. ---------- Andrew

She is still a little young! I'm thinking about 9 mo is when I start expecting them to lay! If she does lay sooner, check the eggs with a flashlight after 5 or 6 days and see if you see blood veins! If you don't, chunk them! Not unusual to have duds on the fist round when their that young! ---------- Val
