no mate this is not a 20 bird this is why we wont the split second rule scrapt it courses to much confusing thay should look like thay have hit a brick wall together then it wood b a 20 bird
These Birds are fighting the wind. and thats not a 20 bird break. Some birds went others went after ..others twizzled cause of affect of the wind blowing them. There is a 8 to 13 bird break ...kinda hard to view...
If that isn't a 20 bird break at 0.53, I don't know what is!!!!! I don't think you can get a better full turn, I don't care what birds you fly, or how you train them. Just my opinion---Bob
thanks for posting that. I beleive that was probably a 1/2 - 3/4 turn. the trouble is that I can;t see the roll well enough in the video to tell if even 1 bird was going in adequate speed and style to be scored. the depth looked to be there estimating by the average wingspan of each bird verses the distance.
I can see the there are at least 2-3 and possible 6-7 birds that do not appear to be actually rolling at all but look to be turning over a couple of times before chasing the kit down.
I saw on Youtube that these are supposed to be Graham Dexter birds. IS this a Graham Dexter flown kit?
The first break is clearly a Waterfall!!! And the second break isn't clear enough to see if the quality of the birds rolling is even scorable! Oh and the strong winds might have added to the effect.
"By the way the break isn't a full turn, there are birds that don't start together and some of them are not spinning well enough to call it a full turn. It is a very good break though, I would probably give it a 16 break which would earn 48 points."
In my own words:
Maybe I exagerated a little with the tittle :-) I think that we dont see things like this too often and even recorded on video. I know his birds have quality and his not been breeding and flying Birmingham Rollers since 1964 for nothing.
Maybe some of you know or maybe not but he is also a competition judge. I am extremely lucky to have him as a best friend and also as a "Master" for the art of breeding and flying high quality Birmingham Rollers as they should be.
This wrote down, again I'm glad to share with the world this part of the film.
Pedro thanks for sharing the clip. I believe that Grahams birds originate from Dave Moseley and when on form Daves birds can perform with the best. Give Graham my regards ----------

Very cool video. I know it is very difficult to capture on video what these birds can really do and make it look good but that was pretty cool anyway. Lots of action if nothing else. Joe Urbon ---------- J.M.Urbon Lofts A Proven Family of Spinners http://www.freewebs.com/jmurbonlofts/

Graham birds,,, well, he told me that some of his birds were a little fatty at the time of my visit :) He was just not giving much importance to the amount of food given to them.
No problem. They are turning back to their good shape again. Maybe its just the heat! The sun is always shinning in Algarve region. :))))
By the way in my visit I saw for the first time a hawk attack. That thing looked like a bullet. Fourtunatelly no birds got hurted on the attack. But these attacks are common there because the Peregrine are residents.
Its kind of a fast food service. :p
We are trying to imput the roller hobby here but there is a racing pigeon culture for years here and 99% of people that like pigeons dont even know what a roller pigeon is.
We just need to make more publicity for the hobby and get young people involved.
Pedro, That was fantastic. I don't post much or comment. Just read the posts and learn. Anyone that says that's not good needs to post video of there own birds so people can judge. I know I'm JEALOUS !!! Thanks Ron
that might not have been a 20 bird break but very nice activity and if you find a few that are not up to standard remove and replace until you make these guys say you have activity going on dont let them judge you on every note thats like me telling koby you made the shot but your feet were to far apart and your arms are to low man you are doing a great job keep up the good work ask some of these guys to put footage on a 20 bird break to show you what it is you not far off track bro

PEDRO, THERE ARE NO SUCH THING AS A PERFECT KIT OR BREAK AND MOST OF US KNOW THAT THE BREAK IN REAL LIFE LOOK A LOT BETTER THAN ON VIDEO. IT IS THE OPTICAL ILLUSION.
I SAW GRAHAM'S BIRDS IN DEC 2005 AND THEY HAD A LOT OF POTENTIAL. WE SAW SOME VERY NICE BREAKS AND THAT WAS AT THE STAGE WHEN HE JUST STARTED WITH DAVE MOSELEY'S BIRDS.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK IN PORTUGAL! HOW FAR ARE YOU FROM GRAHAM?
