Can you beleive it???CBC(Canadian Broadcasting Corp)has been in negotiations with the person who wrote the theme song for Hockey Night in Canada on TV,which has been played on air wednesday and saturday nights since the early 70's.The contract has run out and the corp wanted to continue on using the song but they couldn't come to an agreement on a new price to use it next years hockey season.I mean,mannnnnnthis song is better than our nation anthem "Oh Canada"!!!!and anyone who says they're Canuck and doesn't recognise the tune when they hear it probably is really a cracker wetback from California.I cannot beleive it!!!They have now launched a contest to find a new song and the prize is $100,000 canuck bucks to the winner.It's gonna be like the DEATH of an institution losing that theme song.Sorry folks,,,I had to vent. ----------

I know that peeves me off and probably 100% of all other Canadians too. That is absolutely pathetic.. That song is Canada. It make no sense to me. Without that there will be no more Hockey Night in Canada!

I thought most of these guys were only pigeon fans.. lol jk

That sucks, how can hockey night be hockey night without oh Canada. Hockey has only been over for what a week now and I'm bored, and have nothing to do but work and look for AC it was about 105F here yesterday kel that would be like 40C for you.

I'm prety sure he got rid of them all some kinda screw up,I don't know you hear different stories.He was down here judging my kit for the prelims and yeah it was pretty steady talking.I sure like the Neible birds I have,Blue bars,dark checks and red checks the best,but you know the old henery and coops are pretty bad here.
