Lionel are those birds you posted top and bottom #1315 peigree stock? I have been breeding top and bottom #1315 pedigree stock for thirty years. The lavender has the looks of top and bottom #1315 stock but the two blacks dont look as pure. The self black cock is a great looking stock bird Lionel. He doesnt look like a top and bottom #1315 pedigreed stock bird but the feathers on his feet look like he carries #1315 stock. The bird with tortishell color definely doesnt look like a pure #1315 pedigree bird. He has the color and looks of a Jaconette cross that are prominent in the breed. Frank Lavin and some other fanciers had Pure #1315 stock in California for years. There are some great performing stock in the #1315 purebred stock and crosses too Good luck with your birds, Lionel.
