5th time out today and already kitting and tail sitting, well i have two younger one that arnt but i think theyll be there in a few day's. So far i have 9 and two more to come out of the loft in a few days.

Andrew lol, every bird that i have with the exeption of two carry some sort of color gene, well even the two carry smokey.Dont let the color fool you the 007 line is packed full of roll.

Ty, there are a couple in there where cross breeding is obvious , you can see it in the type and head, good luck with them.

I be honest with you TY,,I tell you one thing i had to look twice so i can take the color thing out my head ..I saw some nice expressions on the looks of those youngster and nice body muscles too ..goodluck with them ..they look like they gonna rip it up there.

cool..I was mixing cement yesterday it was like 95 degreed here i told my wife imagine mixing where my boy Rudy lives like 120 degrees I be dead..

Ty, Good looking youngsters man. Not sure which ones are obviously cross breds or color birds but it don't matter. You house em and feed em, so if they make you happy, your doing it right. Pics don't roll! Good Luck,

Had my first 5 footer yesterday out of the bird in the first pic,he started out with a single then a few doubles and by the time he came in he was putting together a few 5 footers.He hatched 4-22-08 thats at 53 days old and almost all of the others are tail sitting.

Scott, thats its nest mate in the second picture in the back ground. They are off a black pepperhead cock from Jay Yandle and a reduced blue bar hen from Walter Mimbs but it does look like a seagull.

Scott, ill try to take a pic of the pepperhead cock tommorow and ive posted the hen before ill try to dig it up,but where i think you are going isnt correct all of these birds are from long time breeders and as im sure it is at your loft if it doesnt spin it doesnt eat- same as mine

Scott, im also curious about the coloration.Im thinking the cock is carring the milky gene although he doesnt show it, i will breed 4 more rounds off him and if i dont see what i want out of the youngsters ill split the pair raise 10 more squeks and then put him back in the kit if he cant reproduce himself. This year is a numbers game, finding click pairs and trying to stay ahead of the cooper.
