I visited my friend Chuck Hatcher Sunday. He flew his birds, and he has the old style roll... Donuts..!! His birds came from a small nucleus that he got from Cornell Norwood, and he hasn't crossed in 28 years.

I probably should of kept my Norwoods pure, but you know how it is. I thought I could make them better by crossing them. I do have two pure Norwood hens left and I am contemplating dumping everything at this point and restarting. Maybe I won't mess up the new birds.
I enjoyed the photos and I still miss California.

The back of the breeding loft looks like it is open to the mountains behind. That would give lots of air flow. That is one nice loft and kit box.
Is chuck Hatcher and Tom Hatcher related? Brad winward
