Believe it or not it is just this time of year causes the birds to behave this way. Mine are doing the same thing. Before soliciting for answers, maybe you should ask the forum what characteristic their birds are showing during flying. This ought to be interesting.

silent, I am going through the same deal with my birds. My birds roll DEEP so the guys I bought them from told me to feed them up. The more you feed the higher and safer they fly but with less frequency. Cut back on the feed and they go ballistic but fly WAY too low and your gut is in your throat during the fly. I'm still playing with the feed to find the right amount!

hey at least its still trying to fly low...mines they are all like jus trying to find a place to land right when they are out of the kit box...dont know why but I'll try holding them in for about a week or two ..see what happens...I lowered the feed and tried more feeding but still does the same so hold them in ...what yall think?

I tried everthing in the book because I started with petshop birds...nothing would get them up. once I got rid of them and flew youngsters that I aquired from friends, I've been feelin real nice...so I guess I'm asking could it be the bird?

Frenchroll could be right ,,what I would do is rest them for a week all they can eat mix feed let them be just birds bath time chilling out by the pool side like I would say.then start cutting feed down to fly day and see what happens with this rest .I do this alot with my birds when they fly too low or stiff or feel light on the hand this tells me is rest time.back to square one ,now if that don't change a thing I will worm them..now if you got the wrong birds or right birds in a different climate nothing you can do but pray..good luck..

Silent if they are into the roll good you are flying them way too much. Once they start to roll good every other day is plenty.
