Anybody see the latest episode with the pigeon infestation? If you have a neighbor that doesn't like your birds, pray they didn't see it! All they could talk about was the different diseases and mites that the birds can carry and pass on to humans. Unfortunately, they did not say anything about domestic pigeons being kept in sanitary conditions and not presenting the health hazards that wild birds do. Of course the camera had to make sure everything was presented in the worst light possible.

Kay I didn't see it but my neighbor brought it up the one i posted with the kid in my kitbox,but i educated him fast how he see my kitbox clean and how i keep my birds free from lice and that the birds in the street are not to be compare with my birds and they are still not like rodents that carry decease. I was glad he was open minded..but the media has a way of twisting words around and they know they can play on the public..

Kel, It was on TV the Discovery channel. The show is filmed in SoCal. The best part of the show was watching one the exterminators get sprayed by a skunk.
