Does any one know when a roller flies with his tail closed.This bird is a cock bird in my stock loft any one know what is wrong with it.

Jim the bird rolled down in the loft and either bruised its tail or broke it. Joe

Jim to tell if it's broke hold it in your hands with the tail pointing away from you and tip him up and down. If the tails not broke it will fan when tipped.----------

Hold the bird in a pan of warm water and Epsom salt a couple of minutes twice a day should help heal on its own.

Pull the tail feathers out and it will heal quicker.
