What is wrong with a bird that has swollen eyes? How would you treat it? What is the cause?

when my birds had swollen eyes it was from an accident so i put cream jel that Tony has and I rub it on their eyes and nest day its all good again.works great. its call Sore Eye Ointment..Terramycin,,I truly recommend this product..----------

i give them 4 in 1 and put nfz puff in its eyes its a powder i know weird but it works and then its better in about a week

Nick more info is needed to really know exactly but I have seen birds with extreamly swollen eyes after comming in from flight that had actually blow blood vessels in their eye sockets. They go down just as red eyes go away the difference is most birds with the swollen eye will always have the problem. I have seen some just horrible looking birds at a friend of mines a few years back that did it every time they were put in the air.let the bird rest and it will be ok if it was an injury otherwise you will need to cull it. Joe,
I think that is what happen with this bird. It is also limping and I think it make have bounced off of something hard; roof top or the ground. The next day the swelling was down, but is still limping.

yeah nick if you put the nfz puff in its eyes and give the 4 in 1 it will help tramendisly i use it and it works for me
