Scott I got some young birds from Brian Middaugh by Bert. Brian informed that some of the birds that I have, have a bird banded 555. Is 555 a cock or hen and can you tell me a little about this bird. The three cocks that I have have this bird.
Thank you

Randy,
555 is a hen and the best person that can tell you about her would probably be Paul Fullerton. See Paul lost his W/C kit and Scott sent him a kit of birds over to help with his fly. Paul flew them and kept 5 or 6 birds and that is how I ended up with 555. I got the 5 birds he kept from the birds Scott sent to him.
I'm breeding from that hen still! I have the click pair cock over this hen and I have some nice looking young birds coming on!!!
So you might want to ask Paul since he flew the hen for a long time and I think Scott sent her to him pretty young.
Brian
P.S if you need Pauls email addy just let me know I'll send it to you, I know he comes in here a lot.....

LOL>>>Brian...I knew when I saw the 555 it rang a bell with me. One because 55 was my football, baseball, ATV Racing and well just about anything that I do number...so I remember all the fives.

To make a short story long....I had a nice team of birds that I lost to an overfly....I was out of birds so Scott Campbell called me up and told me he had a kit and a half that I could finish flying out so that I could have a team. Of course I lost quite a few birds homing them in the short period of time to get them up and flying. The birds that I sent Brian were the top birds and I believe that those birds were of the older group that was sent to me.

555 was on of the best birds in the group...had the best quality...and was very smooth in the roll....the bird was a trigger bird.....she was on the deeper side 30' range but would roll at all levels based on how the kit was flying ....I flew that bird for about 5 months or so total.....rock and ROLL

I have three cocks out of this bird. One rolls like crazy. See my he scare me to death post. He is out of her. I have seen him roll 40 feet and then roll 10. I have been putting him up with my young birds and he gets them to flip and tail sit with him.
Other than he scares me when he comes into land I am really enjoying him.
the other two cocks are a year old and were not flown until I got them. They are flipping. and tail-sitting. I am enjoying the "whole lot" of them.
