this might have been post before but i was wondering if i was to transfer my pair of breeders to a new location (approximately 15 miles) while they are sitting on eggs while that cause any harm to the eggs...they have been sitting on the eggs for about 1 1/2 weeks...

More than likely they will quit the nest. I would wait until the squeaks were about two weeks old to make a move like that.

Sippi is probably correct however I have moved birds in the past and had them continue setting. As long as you have them in the same cage with the same nest sometimes they will be ok. There is that chance however there is a chance they could leave the eggs. Joe

Tape some card board or newspaper behind your breeder cage and to the side...
Move your breeder at night...So when they get to the new location they won't know the different...
Just my 2 cent...

more than likely, they won't sit on them eggs anymore. I move one of my pair to my other cage, and they automatically quit the next day. The environment is not the same when they had those eggs.

Mine always stay with their nest if you put them in a dark box and hold them on their nest the whole way.. Yours might not though.
