Iam having a real problem with what type of feed containers to use. In the past I have used wooden box types, steel cans with lids to match,RubberMaid plastic garbage can types and just leaving the feed in the bags on the floor. But,one time I noticed that the feed got moldy, because the plastic sweats. They both seem to keep out the roadents very well. But not too much air circulation in them. I was wondering what types of feed storage
containers that some of you guys use? Home made or otherwise??? Has anyone ever heard of using those
corrigated cardboard barrels with the snap on lids??
Some pic of them would be very helpful too.

I have used Vittle Vaults for about 4 years and no real problems. I store them in my loft not outside...Glenn

Hey Paul, I use a cheap trash can,(plastic) with a few holes(1/8 inch) drilled in the top for venilation. So-far no problems.

Guys,
I have been using a old chest type freezer and it works great. It is insulated and air tight and you can keep feed in it for a good long time. No bugs and no mice!! Most people will give them to you if the motor or compressor goes bad. So when you get it take the compressor and everything out from underneath of it and there you have a air tight feed bin. And it don't look bad in the corner of your loft. And you can store a lot of feed in it!!!
