I guess this is a subject that you'll never get the same answer twice......lol. As far as the feeding issue.

Right now I feed a 16% pigeon mix to all my kit birds and pellets to my breeders. I have read several articles lately dealing with feed. I am slightly confessed on exactly which grains to feed and how long they should be fed to them.

Wheat 1/3,Milo 1/3and Maple pea 1/3 seem to be a good combination. What's your opinion on these 3?? And, can I feed these 3 grains as a stable fixed diet?

I understand that I will have to tweek the grains every now and then. Making adjustsment for the weather,
moult and so on. Or will I get the same results with the 16% feed?? Let me hear some of your opinions on this subject, please.

I know alot dont agree but before I left I was feeding chicken scratch, The price of feed has gone well and byond the roof!! also the avilibility in my neck of the woods, I can honestly say my birds were doing the best off this stuff.. really wierd it's like it was a diffrent group of bird's, my wife has been feeding them the scratch for two weeks now, and they haven seen the air,, so I cant wait to see what happens,,sorry I dont have more info on the ? you asked,, just gotta find what works for you...
