I use Country Vet Fly Spray. It last 30 days on the birds killing everything. I spray on each wing and on the tail just one spray is all is needed.

Use vapona strips (no pest strips). They last 3 months. You can buy them at Home Depot.

hey frenchman,i went to home depot to get some seven dust the other week, all theyhad was the gardern seven dust. Is that okay on our birds? Theone I used years ago was a poultry variety. I might try some of that raid garden stuff if its safe.

ICEMAN710, I use the Sevin dust from Home Depot that you saw. I just sprinkle a little under the wings and base of the tail. I also fill up an old nylon with the dust and hang it in the kitboxes and lofts.

Best way that I have found to use it, is to put it in a nylon sock, or cut a piece out of panty hose and dump about a cup of the dust in there and tie the top. Then just pat the bird all over, under the wings and tail and it distributes ver evenly through the sock!

Gary,

The one I use I get it from Jedds I have use it for a while arleady. I use to use the powder but every time I grab the birds it got in my shirt. It last more than 1 month depending if you bath them frequent or not. 1 bottle last me 6 months for around 60 birds and cost around $10.

Tony you should add it to your store works really good.

You can also buy a tool that sprays it by it self every certain time you want it too for inside the loft.
