well that happen to me once and I did got mines back but then depends on your situation...if you think it's worth it then do whatever you have to do...for me..I knew the people who got my birds and I went straight in without saying anything and they saw me but they knew why I was there...and friendship is over that day...but its up to you...this is me only

UMM in that case does your close friend who has the bird now knows that guy that stole your birds....cuz if he does, then your friend would have told you that ..that guy has your birds...I mean unless your close friend doesn't know those are your birds that are being sold..cuz since you said he's your close friend and also if he raise them..should'nt he know you birds...are you sure he's still your close friend...what I will do is if I really want that bird back and is for sure that that bird is mine...then I will ask for a price back...If he says no, then...just remember that he's not a good friend. if a close friend knows you well ...hell give it to you back no charge...yeah but good luck with it...this is just my thoughts...

what do you mean? are those birds yours right now...like in your pigeon loft...and someone came and took your birds and sold it to your friend...and you want them back...is that the story...

Stop beating around the bush, if you can prove they are your stolen birds, call the police. If you can't just move on. It's over, nothing you can do about it.

Im with Tony on this man. But there are some crazy people
out there that would pull a gun out to scare someone and then thats where accidents happen.Can you imagine taking someone life for a bird ?

Dude you need to come clean with your half of the story seems like your confused. If my birds were stolen and I knew who they were I would go get them back. I know your hmong dude and being hmong have alot of respect and ways to handle things by not even bringing in the police. You have elders and they can take care of alot of things. You should know that by now your married. And when all else fails it's okay why because there are better birds down the road!!! Xou

I don't understand what you trying to said about they stole your birds then they are not yours any more but a friends who got the birds stolen.
But any ways If I knew some one had my birds I would just go to there house and grab then no questions ask. If they want problems they will get problems. Easy as that. Taking something that aint yours is asking for big problems specially my birds. I work hard on them for some one just to come and take them.

I will try to get the birds back but if i can't get them back i will not put myself in a life threatening situation. I would probably go to the police and just let them know just in case anything does happen to me. JMO

X gave some birds to Y. X also works, buddy, etc. with Z. Y's birds got stolen by Z. So Z tried to sell the birds back to X. So X knows Y & Z but Y does not know Z.
Either X is a snitch if he tells Y that Z stole is bird or X keeps quiet and when Y finds out....X is history too along with Z.
Y got screwed up.....by law....X is just as guilty as Z is.
I say...
1. X man up and tell Z to hand the birds back...no questions ask....
or
2. X notifies the authority because I am sure Y has some pix to prove the birds are his.
3. when Y finds out...both X and Z might feel pretty sorry.
The decision is for X to make....
"keep your friends close...but keep your enemies even closer" ...this is the sole reason you will know who is your friend or not.....good luck....email me jesse...

Seems like I mentioned on one of these stolen bird post. It's almost always someone you know and that has been over to see your birds.
If you are certain they are yours and you have the band numbers and some photos would help either go to the person demanding them back or go to the police and report it with the band numbers and photos.

I hope ya have watch "Rush Hour" when chris tucker hits jackie chan and say "all ya look alike".
I am sure the cops will just say "they all look alike". Even my wife says all my birds look alike...I showed her my homers and she says they all look alike. you think a cop patroling in the middle of the ghetto would care more about doing pigeon detective or out there fighting crime? Maybe prescharge and you might not here from the vourt until years after.....who knows...what do I know.
And the band thing....if that person did not keep track records...won't help much...and if the thiefs do clipp off the band...no help.
