Just look at the sky and see what they do. If they spin right they are built right. Simple as that.

Some ugly birds spin there ass off. And some perfect type show rollers don't do a single flip. Don't go by looks but what they do.

Look at this bird this one will never win in a show pen. But produce certified spinners what matters the most. And was a good bird in his time. He is a 93 bird and still producing.

This is 007

Look at this one has the perfect apple body type. Has not roll yet. I know it has the blood as all the brothers were good ones. But the body doesn't make them roll.

tou vang.
What you are looking for is balance,it can be found in all size rollers in equal proportion, but not in smallish birds with a big tail,or larger birds with a smaller type tail, irrespective of size or looks, good competent rollers will always have balance,I dont say all well balanced birds will roll, just that they have most important capability if they do,to make roll look good.

Tou, look at the first bird the tail is longer than the wings. This is long tail. Look at the 2nd bird the wings are exactly even with the wings. They look like 1 feather when you grab this bird. simple

We all want to breed the perfect looking bird but it's hard to breed a good performance bird and also to concentrate in looks. But is possible.

We do want a balance bird as it will have a clean roll not having more weight on the chest making it not clean on the roll.

Now what is chest? Tou right now the best thing is for you to concentrate what you see in the air. Later on you will learn exactly how a roller suppose to be built. As for my self I'm still learning every day.

One problem I see alot and not just by new people is. I want this bird because is small or has a apple body or it comes from this person so it has to be excellent. They spend money.

Every on breeds birds that have to be remouve from the loft by many reasons. So if you buy birds as squeakers and not fly them and just breed them one or many faults will be bred in to the offspring.

If you are looking for a bird that has the body it will be good for the show pen.

Onestly some birds that roll real nice will not win in a show pen.

It takes no expert but to see many different kits to know what a roller is suppose to roll. If you have not seen it you will never know. You can't compare something to nothing if you don't know what you are looking for.

What is a P345 if you have not seen one? This is the same with true Rollers. What is one? You will not see one by looking at pictures I tell you that. How many times have you gone to fly's?

Tou great advise by quick" Tou right now the best thing is for you to concentrate what you see in the air. Later on you will learn exactly how a roller suppose to be built. As for my self I'm still learning every day."

learn what they do in the air and whats the right type in the sky. then after a couple of years you got yourself some good ones you go into your Lab and practice Science.balance out who you want with who what will compliment with this one.finding the factors within one roller and matching it with another to see if it will enhance your program, there is no easy solution.
experience is the key and that comes with time .
