Hey,
Everything is going good here....the young birds are coming in AWESOME!!! The A-team is still holding it together....winding down the breeding season...I am done for myself...just breeding for the auction birds I donated and then one round for whoever needs some birds....weeding down some breeders....and that is about it....have not seen one Coopers since Jan.....and this is the first year that I actually have lots of song birds....don't know what happend...but maybe they all caught a disease from mother nature becuase they are to populated and wacked them all....anyway....everything is good here.

Hello fellow Northern Californians,
I'm nestled in the Suisun Valley roughly halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento. I talked to Miguel Gonzales recently and he says he doesn't know when the next BBQ will be.
For the 1st time I would like to attend an NCRC BBQ and meet some of the flyers (that's if isn't too far away... within 60 miles).
Keep'em flyin!

hey deep spin I'm in Faifield Ca just starting out. I have about 13 young birds I just purchased a few from Ruby and a few from Rk. I was a bit anxious before my rubys and RK's arrived so I bought a pair and twp squeakers from a feed place in san pablo call sunnyside and they were banded NCRC the pair are black and are of 2007 and the Squeakers white red check and a cream white tail and wings tips. I'd like to stay in touch to get some pointers since you are just around the corner email me at RooseveltS@dreisbach.com can use all the advice I can get.

hi square,
I knew Rex Clark well and was at his funeral. we worked together on the club for several years. He was the nicest guy I have ever met - always helping folks out with the birds - especially kids.
Anyway, Rex had 2 lines of birds, the pepperheads and an English family. I know a guy that got a lot of his Pepeprhead family - not sure ehre the English birds went.
Let me know if the pepperheads are what you're after.

Thanx for the rappid response... and I feel likewise about Rex..The ones I was looking for were the English, I got a few pairs from him back in 1997, and have not crossed them yet.. The only other guy I know who has some of the same is Wrestler outta Quincy Ca, He was with me the first time we saw the birds at Rex's house. Daves English are off some of the originals I got from Rex. I really enjoy the birds I got from Rex as they are everything he said they would be... I was just wondering if anyone else had the same family without a cross... thanx for your time bro...
